The theme for this January 2023 MTC (monthly track contest) was a fun and very different one, forcing all normal/flat track blocks to be placed in "free mode" with pitch or yaw manually altered.
After a bit of experimenting, I found it more productive to create entire track sections, imagining how they would feel after rotation on one or more axes, and then saving them as custom macroblocks for rotation. The challenge then became one of finding ways to smoothly transition between parts of the track with very different base-rotations and still keep speed/flow.
Thanks for custom track items this time around to eyebo, iNDEX, Entity, StunTMan, stupskiesel.nc, SchurkSmurf, and bandit_08 (fantastic job on that caution sign--just what I needed).
There are some tricks to be found regarding optimal lines, and a few unusual speed checks (and places to slow down to go faster). As always, any feedback is appreciated, and replays are especially cool!
