Glory Days ft Neon

When scientists discovered extraterrestrial life on other planets in the Milky Way Galaxy,
the international community scrambled to assemble and launch it's first "Space Fleet".
A truly international military checkpoint that orbits the earth.

Over time, the International Space Fleet grew its sphere of influence and became its own political entity.
Now, it is considered the most powerful player on the global scale.

Uninterested in terrestrial endeavors, the childish conflicts of the past have been forgotten.
Instead, the entirety of humanity has starry eyes fixed on the possibilities hidden in the night sky.

During this time of peace and access to space resources, technological progress continues at an exponential pace.

These ARE the glory days of humanity.

We may not have much information about the extraterrestrials yet, but we are optimistic.

What could go wrong?

Finally, the 1st map of the series is finished!
First of all I want to thank Neon for providing me with an awesome route, that was a perfect fit for my scenery idea.
I also want to thank And1 and CrzyMan for helping me with the phrasing of the story
