Definition:
In General, the sunset cannot be avoided and is inevitable, just as changes in life – change can neither be avoided nor denied. Therefore, in movies the sunset represents change; change of a setting, one’s mind et cetera. After the sunset, the story shifts gears, often away from the known environment towards an unknown landscape. In a certain movie, the protagonist looks towards the horizon, not knowing what lays ahead of himself. Thus, the sunset represents an invisible barrier or border that is crossed, when changes affect a person’s his life. However, change must not be something negative. To illustrate, change can either be longed for or must be accepted.


Goodbye:
That is why I chose this name for my final map: for me, this binary sunset is a change in my personal journey as my time in this community comes to an end. Leaving TrackMania behind to attend and focus on Business School is certainly a change I rather longed for. Thus, I want to say goodbye to you, my fellow friends.
