hello tmx community,
here is my latest map specially built for the monthly track contest.
the topic this month fascinated me.
my goal and the big incentive this month was to build a map that meets as many of the 15 criteria as possible.
In the end, I decided on an adventure / RPG speed map and i hope i do it well.
i work on it for over 100 hours for 10 days.
----------------------------
this points from the list i think are made.
1: Use two reactor boosters - 3 points
2: Include no engine parts that are all together at least ten seconds long - 5 points
3: Include two speedslides - 2 points
4: Include three alternative finishes of similar length into your map - 3 points
5: Involve two backwards parts of at least 4 seconds each - 5 points
6: Have two dirt turns in your map - 2 points
7: Drive on three blocks from folder 9 - 3 points
8: Include two no-steering sections in your map - 3 points
9: Add four differing loops to your map - 5 points
10: Use 8 different CPs - 4 points
11: Add three jumps or drops that are longer than two blocks (either horizontally or vertically) - 3 points
12: Add a reuse - 2 points
13: Use five custom blocks to drive on from Item Exchange - 3 points
It was very important to me to build an atmospheric, varied map that manages to incorporate the various elements in an entertaining and varied way.
i want create a natural looking island , so i dont really use signs and something like this.
you can find little signs on the map , but its hard to see and only a little detail.
In the end, the project became very big and I'm happy to have finished with it.
I hope you have a little fun with it.
I am aware that it certainly does not hit the mainstream.
RPG / Pathfinding and has some spots that need little tricks.
I hope you have fun !
and since christmas is coming soon i thought i would build a little secret that needs to be solved.
a special adventure you can take informations about in the gps !!!
with a nice surprise for the first 3 peoples who can crack it !!
have fun
