This map is nuclear-powered and
fission is the process behind all of its energy, hence the beautiful name - "Fizion"!
While the fission reactors supplying this map with power are safe - the map itself isn't!
Its transitions and drifts
can make you highly excited and radiant, so be careful!
Hope you enjoy driving it and GLHF for all your matches!
Here are some scientific facts about
fission (referenced in the map):
- The term "fission" came from biology and stands for the process of cell division, but later the same process was discovered on a much smaller scale of matter - the split of an atom.
(This very process is depicted in scenery statues)
- Fission reactors are submerged in water and produce a beatiful blue glow called "The Cherenkov Effect" due to charged particles moving faster than the speed of light in water and blue being the hydrogen spectrum color.
(You can notice them hidden underground around the map)
- The original symbol of ionizing radiation hazard created in 1946 was colored magenta with blue background but later changed to neon-yellow because it was the most eye-catching according to scientists.
(This color is new for the game and definitely does catch some eye, also fits the signpack ^^)
- Around 440 fission reactors are currently operating in the world producing about 9% of world's electricity.
(This map has 10 and 3 more "special edition" ones are coming soon with the long version, so stay put!)
Thanks to nuclear science for this map!
