Hey TrackmaniaExchange and welcome to my first TrackMania 2020 track.

Before the game was even released, I was highly skeptical, as I had not had an optimal experience with Nadeo in the past and the videos available on the web did not quite convince me. But when the game was released in July, I was very fascinated - especially, as you might imagine, I was interested in the limits of the scenery. Consequently, I started to build a track, but I quickly gave up the first version. Although the broad spectrum introduced a lot of new possibilities, I was also less enthusiastic about the depth and level of detail. In other words, I lacked creativity in the routing.

Nonetheless, in the end I was inspired by the layout of tracks that were released in early July, while I wanted to give the decorative elements a distinctive twist: While it's obvious that Nadeo's design ideas shifted towards a minimalist direction, making it possible to create an effective scenography with little effort, this is not what I wanted - I was aiming for a detail-obsessed, heavy and futuristic setting that still emphasizes natural structures. And I think that I succeeded in doing so well, since the game was released just a few weeks ago. And while we are at it: Yes, I have been working on this track since it was released with a few minor breaks. But in the end, most of the time was spent on the décor, which was probably also since you had to relearn most techniques.

Apart from that I am very satisfied considering that this is the first track in the new game - the layout is not (anymore) high-end, but the decoration could be considered as state-of-the-art, at least for the moment.
