Release Trophy - The freestyle cup - 10€CP

Here is the brand new freestyle competition on Trackmania! A competition that will last only one evening, live on Twitch, in which 16 players will compete on a map single freestyle map.

Release Trophy
Release Trophy is a freestyle competition on the game Trackmania (2020). It will take place on May 30th, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm (2 hours, time zone: Paris, France).
Players will play on a map created for the occasion, which will be shared below. The competition has a limited number of 16 slots, registration will continue but players will be put on a waiting list. Players will need to own the Trackmania game in standard access or club access (the free version does not allow participation). The objective of the competition is to drive in the map during an allotted time by making the most spectacular tricks possible.
Juries will be present and will give a set of marks for each performance, the players will then be ranked in a leaderboard.
The competition will take place in two phases: qualification and final. Each phase has different rules.

1. Qualification
This is the phase in which all players will compete. The players will take turns and will have 2 minutes to perform a passage in which they will have to impress the members of the jury. They will give a score to the performance according to some criteria:
• Respect of the time
• Originality
• Complexity
• Quality
The 16 players will compete in turn. At the end of all the rounds, the 6 best players will go to the final phase.

2. Final
The final will take place in the same way as the qualification phase, but the finalists will have 3 minutes of performance instead of 2. This performance must be different, but the tricks of the first one can be reproduced. The final ranking will depend on the same jury, which will have increased in size, with the addition of Fech_26 and the Twitch chat as jurors.

D-Day
On the day of the competition, players will have to connect to the dedicated server 10 to 30 minutes in advance. They will be able to practice as much as they want.
At 5pm, the server will be unavailable and anyone not present will be disqualified from the competition. Players will receive the running order 30 minutes before the start of the qualifications.

Rules:
• Reappearance is only allowed if the car is turned around and can no longer move forward.
• The scoring criterion "Respect of time" corresponds to the time of the performance. It must be as close as possible to 2 or 3 minutes. However, it may exceed or fall short of this time.

• Failure to respect the running order will result in a warning followed by disqualification.
• Inappropriate names or car skins will disqualify the player.
